Handbell choir rings our bells

Travel deals

The handbell choir is an organized extracurricular activity that is offered at our school. An audition is required to become a member.

Twenty-one students are selected at the auditions. Timing and accuracy are key to the success of the handbell choir.

The handbell choir meets every Monday. During the rehearsals, choir members practice songs that will be performed at various occasions.

The handbell choir performs at many different events, such as a firefighter's retirement dinner, a holiday town hall event, the Long Island Ducks baseball game, and a high school varsity basketball game.

Some of the songs that are played are: "The Star Spangled Banner," "Take Me Out to the Ballgame," "God Bless America," and various holiday songs.

The handbell choir is an amazing way to collaborate with other students that have the same interests as us, and we are so happy that we can be a part of this amazing group.
