Hicksville: How one LI area became a magnet for Asians

LI's Asian population is booming and nowhere is it more evident than in the Hicksville area. An ethnic business district off Route 106 has exploded, drawing immigrants from Southeast Asia, India and Pakistan. Today, about one-fifth of Hickville' s residents are Asian -- double the percentage a decade ago.
