HUNTINGTON STATION - Police are searching for the person who shot a Huntington Station man in the groin.

Police say a 23-year-old man was standing in front of his home on Tippin Drive last night when the incident occurred.

According to police, two cars drove by and someone fired a gun, striking the 23-year-old in the groin.

The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
