IRS agent testifies on alleged money trail in Annabi trial

MANHATTAN - An IRS agent gave potentially damaging testimony today in the corruption trial of former Yonkers City Councilwoman Sandy Annabi. The prosecution called the agent to detail the alleged money trail and he displayed in-depth charts and records. The agent says his research shows alleged payments were made over the years, which Annabi is accused of using to buy jewelry, airline tickets and to make loan payments. Annabi is on trial for allegedly accepting bribes to change her vote while on the City Council for things such as the controversial Ridge Hill development project.
