Al Montoya in goal vs. Canadiens

Montoya allowed six goals on Saturday to the Penguins, the most he's given up in a game this season, but Jack Capuano has Montoya back in net to start here in Montreal tonight.

Evgeni Nabokov is off injured reserve, but Capuano wants to give Nabokov a bit more time to ease into the rotation.

Nabokov skated with a few regulars this morning at the Bell Centre -- the Isles only brought their 20 healthy players for this quick trip -- and said he would need to shake off some rust soon.

For Montoya, getting back in after a rough start is important.

"I love that," he said. "I'm here because I want to play. Some nights it doesn't go your way -- you can feel great and you don't play well, or you feel awful and you stop 'em all. It's about responding tonight, knowing what I'm capable of doing and then doing it."
