Comeau back in for Saturday, back on LW

Blake Comeau is a natural left wing who played the right side in his first three games, then was a healthy scratch the last two. Jack Capuano said Comeau would return tomorrow against the Panthers, back at left wing, with Josh Bailey in the middle and Brian Rolston on the right.

"We just want to get him back where he feels most comfortable," Capuano said.

Rolston said he's "played everywhere" and doesn't mind what side he's on.

"I'll be fine. Blake needs to get back in a groove and be where he's feeling good," Rolston said. "We need to develop some chemistry as a line here."

Rick DiPietro stayed on the ice at the BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise following the team's 45-minute practice to do some extra work. He won't dress tomorrow but Capuano said DiPietro is "getting close" to being back in the goaltender rotation after suffering a concussion nine days ago.

D Milan Jurcina (groin) participated in his first full practice today as well, so he is nearing a return to lineup consideration.

D Andrew MacDonald (hip surgery) sat out practice with a scheduled maintenance day, as he's had on occasion so far.
