Kevin Poulin back in net tonight vs. Sabres

After giving up 2 goals in the first 95 seconds on Monday afternoon, Kevin Poulin was pulled from the net. He goes back in tonight.

"We're very confident in his confidence," said assistant coach Doug Weight, who met with the media this morning while Jack Capuano stayed back at the team hotel in Buffalo, the latest flu victim on the team. "Kevin knows it was a rough first goal, and it happens. Jack and Garth (Snow) felt it was best to go right back to him."

Weight said any lineup changes had yet to be determined, but the Isles only brought one spare forward (Tim Wallace) and one spare defenseman (Ty Wishart), so any change would be minor.

PA Parenteau will be back in after his meltdown and ejection yesterday -- he received 24 penalty minutes, including 12 for unsportsmanlike conduct before referee Gord Dwyer tossed Parenteau midway through the third for arguing a few non-calls.

"It's a big game for the team, but at the same time, I have to check my emotions at the door there," Parenteau said. "I can't be in the box for 10 minutes and then get thrown out. I can't do it. Gotta stay focused on the game."
