Video: DiPietro discusses the goalie situation

New York Islanders goaltender Rick DiPietro hopes to stay healthy in the 2011-12 NHL season to contend for the top spot in the crease. Videojournalists: Robert Cassidy and Daryl Thomen (Sept. 29, 2011)

Islanders goalie Rick DiPietro and coach Jack Capuano spoke about the gameplan going forward at goalie.

DiPietro reminded reporters that he had a healthier 2010-11 season, and said, "If I hadn't broke my face, I would've played close to 40 [games]."

Capuano seemed excited that the team had several options in net. He said, "The guy that we feel is going to give us the best chance to win is going to play.
