GOSHEN - The teens accused of murdering an elderly woman in Goshen appeared in court today.
The Orange County district attorney says Jennifer Molyneaux, 17, and Devin Giordano, 19, strangled and bludgeoned 81-year-old Helen Mills to death. According to state police, the teens knew the woman through her grandson.
Police say the teens entered the Green Street home looking for drug money and then attacked the woman. They say the two then set the home on fire.
The teens are being held without bail. They are charged with second-degree murder.
