J. Crew's Fall 2013 collection popped with mixed prints and plenty of color, but the jewels stole the show.

They were everywhere -- placed artfully along the lapels of coats, gracing shirt collars and dressing up daytime looks in the form of statement necklaces and drop earrings. They even adorned a burgundy baseball cap worn with a stunning printed coat, orange drawstring pants and gold pumps.

Monochrome looks in blues and violets were layered with rich textures and brocade patterns, and the clutches and scarfs were bold and oversized.

For the men, tweed blazers were layered over sweaters in shades of navy, red, russet and green, ties tucked in neatly. Oxford shoes in leather and suede gave a fancy touch to laid-back pants. As for the outerwear, overcoats, puffers, anoraks and trenches ensure guys will have plenty of choices come fall.
