Joseph Fallo, of Jersey City, with 22 prior arrests, charged in ex-girlfriend attack
JERSEY CITY - A Jersey City man with 22 prior arrests has been charged for beating his ex-girlfriend and cutting her face at a boarding house.
Police say Joseph Fallo, 42, was freed on bail just 10 days prior to the attack on Magnolia Avenue in Jersey City. He was arrested in June after he allegedly spent three days beating another woman at the Fountain and Seville motels in North Bergen.
Fallo’s criminal history includes the stabbing of his lawyer in Hoboken in 2004, in which he forced his attorney to withdraw money from an ATM on Hudson Street. He has been in prison on four separate occasions on charges including aggravated assault and robbery.
