Kidsday: Justin Bieber's autobiography

Travel deals

The autobiography "100% Official Justin Bieber: Just Getting Started" (HarperCollins) takes you step by step through Bieber's life and career. The book is not only about fun facts, gossip and success, it also reveals his feelings of gratitude and his love for his family and friends.

We learn of his amazing musical career, and his favorite actors, singers and fictional characters. Did you know that he loved Jackie Chan? Did you know his favorite singer is Michael Jackson? He traveled all over the world not only to perform shows but feeling he could make a difference in some kids' lives. Traveling and seeing new places every day, playing golf in Brazil and then soccer in Spain, Justin seems to enjoy what he does!

But it's not all about the fun. Justin has a great heart, and he has a message for all his fans: No matter how successful you're going to be, the most important things in life are the love and support of your family and friends!

Our top music of 2012

2012 was an awesome year in music. The top song, the Grammys and all of those amazing artists. Everyone was impressed by all of these catchy songs, fun party songs, hard rock and roll etc. Here are the songs that the kids in my class picked as tops:

The top song of the year was: "One More Night," Maroon 5

Runners-up:

"Gangnam Style," Psy

"Some Nights," fun.

"We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," Taylor Swift

"Blow Me (One Last Kiss)," Pink

"As Long as You Love Me," by Justin Bieber, featuring Big Sean

The Grammys were a big deal in 2012. Adele won record of the year, album of the year, song of the year, best pop solo performance and best pop vocal album. Bon Iver won best new artist.--Kidsday Reporter Gina Ginenthal
