I object!
Despite his beachy good looks and proclivity for playing stoner dudes, Matthew didnt get typecast after Dazed and Confused. Instead, he went on to play lawyer Jake Tyler Brigance in Joel Schumacher's A Time to Kill, based on the John Grisham novel.
