Learn Chinese cooking at Beacon library

Learn how to cook a delicious, healthful and visually enchanting Chinese meal during a hands-on cooking class at the Howland Public Library in Beacon.

The class will take place Oct. 24 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Howland Public Library, 313 Main St., in Beacon.

Culinary expert Ai-Ping Ma will teach techniques such as stuffing and folding a spring roll, slicing paper-thin chicken and how to mix up a variety of savory sauces. All participants will get to savor the delectable results of their cooking.

Advance registration is required for this adults-only event. A $15 fee is due at the time of registration. Seating is limited to 12 participants, so come into the Howland Public Library early to register for this popular event.
