LI kids' favorite outdoor activities

Spring is here and there's no better time than now to get outside and play. If you're looking for fun things to do outdoors, take a cue from the first-graders in Marguerite Robles' class at Maurice Downing School in Malverne, who created mobiles and thumbprint art of their favorite warm-weather activities. Plus, they wore sunflower "hats" during a special performance. Here, they share their artwork and talk about what things they like to do around Long Island in the spring and summer.
