At the first event last month, dozens of players came to the museum at 279 Main St. to take control of its Pokémon gym, and lures were set up in the village of Cold Spring Harbor for players looking to increase their Pokédex. The Aug. 25 event will be a repeat.

Suggested admission is $6 per adult and $5 per child ages 4 to 17; younger than 4 is free. For more details, visit cshwhalingmuseum.org or contact Judy Palumbo at 631-367-3418, ext. 12.
