Book Buddies read together, make friends

In our school, we have a program called Book Buddies. We get assigned to read a book with a younger kid, usually a second-grader.

The older kids do a worksheet and usually our buddies read the book. We ask them questions after they read. We have fun with them, and they always tell us jokes.

We like this program because we get to know the littler kids, and it's a great way for them to make more friends.

It's fun, and they are always happy to see us. Sometimes, they play with us at recess.

You should talk to your teachers about doing this. What are you waiting for? Go ask!
