Give spellin' and jumpin' a try

Do you like jumpin' and spellin'? If you do, why don't you try our way of spelling it? Here's what you've got to do. Grab a rope, and get yourself some spelling words from your teacher or parent and start jumpin' and spellin', dude.

What does this really mean? As we are warming up in physical education class, we jump rope but in a special way. Our gym teacher, Mr. David Tor, writes our spelling words on a large white board. As we jump, we say each letter to spell out the words. If you are wondering how many times we do this, well, we do this two times around.

Everyone in our school, from grades three to five, enjoys this activity. If you are interested and you are the master of jump-roping, you can try doing double jumps and other cool rope-jumping routines.

If you try doing this, you probably would be laughing at not just how fun it is, but how it is a healthy workout, too.
