Bored? Rainy day? Or just looking for some fun?

Well, we’ve got just the place: Karts Indoor Raceway, located at 701 Union Pkwy., Ronkonkoma. It’s open all year. Here’s a few things they have. But it is not just about go-karts.

For starters, they have neon glow-in-the-dark roller ball, which is just like bowling but with glow-in-the-dark walls and little bowling balls that glow in the dark. There are only two players allowed per lane, and there are two lanes.

They also have The Launch, a room where you have to avoid beams. If you touch a beam, you gain 20 seconds. At the end, you scan your hand and it will show a three-digit code that you enter on a keypad. The goal is to get to the hand scan/keypad and then back in the least amount of time.

Wait, there’s more: a really fun laser tag, where you can pick a mode, including zombie, free-for-all, team death match and much more.

Next, we have the Pit Stop Café. Choices include fresh popcorn, soft pretzels, shakes, ice cream, Dippin’ Dots and lots of other food and drinks.

They also have an arcade, which includes things like a play-until-you-win candy machine, motorcycle race, ball machine, Minion machine and fighting machine.

Last but not least, the go-karts. You need to be 40 to 52 inches tall to ride with an adult and 52 inches tall to ride alone. If you crash into someone on purpose more than once, they have to remove you. You can go about 20 mph, unless you take a test: You can’t bump, ride slow, or ride in an unsafe way. If you pass the test, you get to go 30 mph ... pretty cool, huh? They can also stop the race if you accidentally crash; if you accidentally crash twice, you will unfortunately get taken off.

Well, now you know just the place to go!
