Earlier this week, we got a sneak peek at the new Disney Channel movie, "Girl vs. Monster." It stars Olivia Holt as Sklyar Lewis, who pulls off some pretty amazing stunts. "Girl vs. Monster" is about a girl who learns that she is a fifth-generation monster hunter. She discovers this when she accidentally releases all the monsters that her parents have locked in the basement. Not only is the story great but the special effects are mind-blowing. There were several amazing looking monsters and even some high-tech monster hunting weapons. Combined with a great story, and some seriously good effects, there was some humor. That's what makes this the perfect October movie for kids. Anyone who wants to get their "scare on," should watch it!

It premieres Oct. 12 at 8 p.m. on the Disney Channel.
