"Turbo" was an action-packed, laugh-out-loud movie! On Monday we went to a screening of this new movie.

The main character is a slow-moving, self-confident, goal-achieving garden snail named Turbo who dreams of being fast. He spends his evenings watching reruns of Indy 500 car races. His co-workers and brother doubt his ability to accomplish his dreams. His role model is Guy Gagné, a famous Indy 500 racer.

After being insulted once again by his friends and co-workers, Turbo slithers away. He finds himself in the engine of a Camaro during a drag race. It is at this time that Turbo gains powers that a snail could not imagine.

Turbo and his brother meet Tito. Along with a few other friends, they end up going to Indianapolis and entering the Indy 500.

This is a feel-good movie that inspires kids and adults to work hard to achieve their goals.

We really liked this movie a lot. Here are a few of our favorite parts:

We loved the 3-D special effects used when Turbo was gaining his special powers. We also liked when Turbo ran into the tomato patch with the big wheel, which caused him to get fired from his job. It was the turning point in Turbo's life.

A couple of things we took away from the movie: No dream is too large to accomplish and no dreamer is too small. We recommend you see this great family entertainment.
