GO APPLE PICKING Harbes Farm in Riverhead and Davis Peach Farm in Wading River are popular spots.

TAKE A HIKE The Greenbelt Trail in Smithtown and the Sunken Forest on Fire Island are nice and adventurous.

PICK SOME PUMPKINS Pumpkin lovers will find plenty of large pumpkins at White Post Farms in Melville.

THE BRONX ZOO Exhibits are set up like natural habitats. Check out the African Plains and Baboon Reserve.

THE METROPOLITAN MUSEUM OF ART The exhibits are always changing.

THE LONG ISLAND CHILDREN'S MUSEUM You will have a blast discovering many new things here.

THE LONG ISLAND AQUARIUM You can pet stingrays and see sea lions and penguins. You can also sleep over on certain nights.

MACY'S THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE Have you ever seen the parade on TV? Imagine being there in person, looking at the amazing floats.

THE SWEET BRIAR NATURE CENTER They have a butterfly garden, bird exhibits and some other cool stuff.

FALL FESTIVALS At the L.I. Fall Festival in Huntington there is a carnival and many tables set up with local vendors selling great stuff.
