The St. Jude Math-a-thon is an organization that helps kids at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

At our school, the entire student body has an opportunity to participate in the Math-a-thon. The purpose of this event is to raise money to donate to the hospital. The entire school watches a video explaining what the Math-a-thon is and gets instructions on how to participate. Students are given a book with math problems. After completing the book, students can collect donations from friends and family.

Another way you can participate in the Math-a-thon is by doing the problems online. An envelope we get includes information on how to access the website. Depending on how much money a student collects, he or she can earn prizes.

The funds collected will be used to find a cure for childhood cancer. An amazing thing about St. Jude is no family ever pays for anything.

The St. Jude Math-a-thon is a great event to help kids with cancer, and we are honored to be a part of such a great cause. For more information, you can visit:
