What do you think when you hear of the Boy Scouts? There is probably a lot more to it than most people think.

The ranks of Boy Scouts are Scout, Tenderfoot, Second Class, First Class, Star, Life, and Eagle. There are four communities of scouting called Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venture Crew, and Varsity Scouting. Girl Scouts sell cookies but Boy Scouts sell popcorn. In Boy Scouts the older scouts run the meeting. I think my troop, Troop 46, is the best but that's just my opinion because that's the troop I go to. Also, my favorite camp is Onteora in Livingston Manor, New York. Before and after every camping trip, we have to bring the boxes in and out of the trailer. We don't have the trailer every camping trip. With the ranks you don't just turn 12 and get that rank; you must work on the requirements.

There is also a scout law and motto. The Boy Scouts help you get benefits like maturity and strength, and you learn respect.
