Long Island students are getting creative when asking someone to the prom. Take a look a few pictures of LI students popping the prom question.

Senior Andrew Grosse of East Islip High School had a pizza delivered to Rebecca Carucci's house. When she opened the box, she saw "PROM?" written in pepperoni and black olives.

Tyler Slack of St. John the Baptist High School in West Islip asked Lauren Heschl to the prom by taping a heart to her locker and presenting her with yellow flowers; his brother Jake, also a senior at the school, asked fellow senior Morgan Seeberger to the prom by slipping the question into a fortune cookie.

7. Prom proposals get creative

Popping the prom question became as elaborate as some marriage proposals as students across Long Island asked their dates through flash mobs, singing telegrams and by embedding questions into language tests.
