Explore Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle tunnels, take photos with Shopkins mascot characters including Strawberry Kiss and Lippy Lips, and check out the new Batmobile from Warner Bros. Pictures’ “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” at the first-ever Play Fair this weekend in Manhattan.
The Play Fair is a parallel event occurring Saturday and Sunday during the 113th Annual North American International Toy Fair at the Javits Center. Kids aren’t allowed into the official Toy Fair, but this year, for the first time, Lego and Nickelodeon are sponsoring an event that’s open to families in the Javits Center North.
Play Fair will be like a ToyCon, with brands such as Hasbro, Mattel, Crayola, Warner Bros. and more sponsoring activities, performances and panels. The cast of Nickelodeon’s show “Game Shakers,” for instance, will host a panel on Saturday to debut their new app, Nasty Goats. And of course, there’ll be plenty of toys to play with.See also100 things for kids on LI
