It’s time to start voting in the Ward Melville Heritage Organization’s Annual Scarecrow Competition. This is the 26th year the silly, scary 6-foot-tall creations adorn the pathways of Stony Brook Village Center for visitors to enjoy and vote for their favorite. The 30 scarecrows were made by community groups such as Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts or families.
