Donna Karan warmed her guests with a hot chocolate stand outside her show. Inside, she showed a cozy, cute eclectic collection that included little pleated mini schoolgirl skirts, equestrian plaids and some smart new separates featuring bright strip collages. Borrowed-from-your-boyfriend looks included coats, blazers, some terrific shearlings, toasty mohair sweaters, and a cheerful deco floral pattern that will chase the winter blahs.

We loved best the fresh, deco beading on tops and dresses (inspired by the Chrysler building) and the kooky towering platform shoes and booties that looked so smart with everything.
