Pop star Gwen Stefani knew to bring a step-stool to her show. She perched above the crowd, in back, as her models strolled out on a wide runway dressed in layers made of outerwear and underwear. But let’s just say this underwear had nothing to do with the way your mother wore her underwear... unless she’s Madonna.

A leather corset was tossed atop a military shirt and bright camouflage pants. Another corset was tied haphazardly, hanging off the back like an apron. And bloomer shorts were paired with Fogal lace stockings with thick support bands at the thigh. Grannies will tsk-tsk, but the vibe was edgy, sexy and -- hello! -- very, very young.
