It’s a Liberty of London moment, it seems.

The famed British fabric house, known for its colorful, often floral, patterns and fabrics--and a London store that’s a must-stop for tourists-- is showing up in some surprising places.

MAC has taken the colors from those pretty prints and turned them into a limited-edition line of lipsticks, shadows, powders, and more, available only through April. We love the sweet packaging, especially the cute little birdie on lipsticks and the cosmetic bags. Check it out at your favorite MAC counter or online at maccosmetics.com.

Meanwhile, how does Target top Jean Paul Gaultier, the French fashion giant whose limited-edition collection was introduced by the chain last week?

By turning to something traditional and classic, namely Liberty of London. The new collection, launched Sunday, ventures all over the place, with clothing and acessories for everyone (love the baby rompers), plus and extensive home collection with beautiful pillows, bedding, dishes and of course the prettiest little tea pots.

As the MAC promos say, it’s all “bloomin’ lovely.”
