There are about 130 vendors on three floors and variety is the name of the game at Shopper's Village, a popular Long Island destination from 1981 until it closed in 1995. It reopened in May, and vendors have claimed about a third of the 360 selling spots. "People come here for many things," says Shopper's Village president Ron Morello. "Jewelry is one of our best-selling items even in this economy."

The lower floor is dedicated to an eclectic mix of furniture. Along aisles with names like Linda Lane and Ronald's Run, shoppers will find items ranging from rugs and framed art to upscale children's clothing, skateboards, men's suits, toys and made-to-order gift baskets.

There's a play area for kids on the top floor, where shoppers can also have their pictures taken at Fun Flicks photo studio and shop at Krime Masters Inc., which specializes in movie-villain-inspired collectibles, among other places. Hungry shoppers also can grab something at the 200-seat food court.
