Gabby Douglas gets a case of nerves at Red Dress, mom says

Hard to believe that superstar gymnast and Olympic gold medalist Gabby Douglas would get a case of the jitters from simply walking down a runway. But according to her mom, Natalie Douglas, this was the case at the Heart Truth’s Red Dress collection on Wednesday night.
“She’s a little overwhelmed and nervous,” said Douglas, who sat front and center wearing a glamorous feathery Vince Camuto top. “It’s because she’s such a perfectionist,” said mom, adding, “She’s having the time of her life. We all love fashion, that’s our thing.”
For the record, Gabby, who wore a high-low hem Pamella Roland gown (natch, it was red), strutted the catwalk like a pro. And all for a good cause … the upbeat event promotes awareness of heart health for women.
