Kate Spade: It's a party

This Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week marks Kate Spade New York’s 20th anniversary, and the collection was a classic Manhattan celebration, Studio 54 style.
Retro A-line skirts, cigarette pants and polished coats come alive with polka dots, leopard spots and city-inspired prints in candy pink and purple hues. Handbags range from playful clutches (yellow ones scream “Taxi!”) to ladylike satchels with bows. Dancing shoes have gold toes and others are bathed in glitter.
Artist Craig Redman designed a glam version of his signature one-eyed monster, which can be spotted on sweaters, Tees and accessories. Kate Spade creative director Deborah Lloyd had fun with this one — and why shouldn’t she?
