For those of us who can't stroll down the Champs Elysees as often as we'd like, Malandrino's collection may very well be the next best thing, especially for luxe ladies who need an oh-so French fix.  Or should we say "fixe?"

There are intricately crocheted knits offering peeks of skin, like a sinful long dress made of leather trim and panels of fishnet--imagine a tile mosaic, but sheer--or her eyelet tights with stripe of bold perforations going down the front of legs.

Fur lovers have a slew of cozy options, from a chinchilla wrap jacket with fox and leather collar, to a broadtail jacket cinched with leather sash, or a violet-tinged mink with puffer sleeves.

But perhaps the best part of a Malandrino show is the audience--women, many discreetly speaking French to each other, weave their understated style as elegantly as they wear these clothes.
