At Carmen Marc Valvo’s stellar show on Friday at the tents, our seatmate, the celebrity stylist Phillip Bloch (a Long Islander, by the way), checked off the run-of-show like a grocery list.

Something really beautiful happened at NASDAQ in Times Square on Sunday night, and it had nothing to do with stocks.
