Tri County Unique Bazaar
3041 Hempstead Tpke. Levittown, NY
There are about 300 vendors, plus 40 jewelry booths upstairs at this flea market. Billed as Long Island's largest jewelry exchange, one glass case after another is dripping with gold and ablaze with diamonds at this market, which has been around since 1982, according to co-owner Ralph Fasano.
If you're not in the market for jewelry, other merchants carry all sorts of goods - from custom-made wedding veils and slinky lingerie to men's and women's clothing and sweet-smelling perfumes on the main floor, which also has concession areas. Sellers on the upstairs mezzanine carry wicker furniture and assorted collectibles and memorabilia geared to toy, game, comic book, sports and wrestling fans.
