The Living Room, the stylish Scandinavian-New American restaurant at The Maidstone, hosts a wine dinner tomorrow highlighting St. Innocent Winery of Oregon.
The $85 dinner by executive chef and "slow food" advocate James Carpenter includes grilled yellowfin tuna with heirloom-tomato salad (with pinot gris), seared diver scallops with local corn salad (with pinot blanc), Scottish salmon with a leek tart (paired with pinot noir), herb-crusted rack of lamb with goat cheese-and-potato puree and "end of summer" ratatouille (with pinot noir). The finale is a housemade cookie plate.
The $85 per person tab doesn't include tax and tips. The Living Room earned a three-star rating this summer.
The Maidstone is at 207 Main St., East Hampton. Reservations: 631-324-5006.
