A new Turkish restaurant has opened in the Manor Haven section of Port Washington. Grimaldi’s on Glen Cove Avenue in Sea Cliff has closed.

The coal-oven pizzeria, which opened earlier this year, was a franchise operation owned by Mike Napoli. Grimaldi’s in Garden City is still open, as is the flagship Grimaldi’s under the Brooklyn Bridge and other Grimaldi's in New York City and New Jersey.

Taste of Madras, which opened in May 2013 in the former Hicksville digs of Curry Club, has closed. The restaurant served the cuisine of Southern India.
