Memorial Day weekend represents the unofficial start to summer. The summer movie season, however, started the first week of May with the release of "Iron Man 2."

While the beach and backyard barbecues are the big draw of the three-day weekend, surely there are a few hours in there for big summer movies.

And if it rains sometime between May 28 and May 31, you'll be happy to know that there are two big movie releases slated for Memorial Day weekend:

SEX AND THE CITY 2

When Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) and new hubby Mr. Big (Chris Noth) hit a rough patch, she bumps into an alluring old flame. Which one? Hint: He's played by John Corbett. With Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon.
