Good news, orchid lovers: New York is getting another show. And this one won’t focus solely on orchids: Blooms on Broadway will feature 500 species of exotic plants and flowers, including African violets, houseplants and perennials.

International vendors from Equador, Japan and the U.S. will have display booths, and there will be an expert speaker series ("how to create a tropical rain forest in your living room" and " how to improve the air quality in your apartment with plants”) and celebrity judges.

The show, which organizers predict will draw some 15,000 attendees, will be held at Gotham Hall (1356 Broadway) from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on February 22-23 and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Feb. 24.

Tickets ($25, which includes $5 off any plant you purchase) are available at
