Refurbished chairs get new life to support charity

Merrick designer Rose Ott found a Windsor chair at The Salvation Army and redesigned it for her baby nephew, Jack William. It was one of 28 chairs auctioned this week for Habitat for Humanity New York City by the New York chapter of the International Furnishings and Design Association. This gallery shows many of them.
