Anthony Kamanes of East Meadow is growing beefsteak and cherry tomatoes this year, plus a Russian variety given to him by a neighbor. He says he started about half his plants indoors from seed. “Our garden is approximately 10 feet-by-10 feet, and we also have about 10 pots around the yard.”
