Ghoulish ghosts and lurking legends await the brave during the Halloween season at Historic Hudson Valley. And now, a new transportation service, Grisly Getaways, can conveniently whisk groups of city-dwellers to these haunted sites without fear.
Three of the area's spooky attractions bringing shivers and shudders to visitors include: The Great Pumpkin Blaze, Horseman’s Hollow and Irving's Legend. Luxury motor coach service begins October 4 and continues through November 9. Four buses will be serving the Tarrytown & Croton Harmon Train Stations to these events and one bus will be shuttling passengers between events.
Buses will run on 20 minute schedules and shuttle fares begin at $13.00 but do not include tickets to the seasonal attractions, which must be purchased in advance. Service is on a first come, first serve basis and fare must be paid in cash.
Whether you prefer captivating storytelling bringing to life the Legend of Sleepy Hollow, an innovative Halloween happening complete with a walking trail featuring 5,000 artistically hand-carved lighted pumpkins or the terrifying adventure of Horseman’s Hollow, Grisly Getaways ensures calm travels to the Historic Hudson Valley.
