Jazz pianist and composer Bill O'Connell still enjoys performing after years of playing some of the most prestigious clubs in the world, from Birdland in Manhattan to The Cotton Club in Tokyo. The 64-year-old Port Washington native released his first solo recording, "Monk's Cha-Cha" (Savant), of him at the keys performing jazz classics done to a Latin beat. He'll also be playing at Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola at Lincoln Center on Aug. 28, 2017. (Credit: Randee Daddona)
