Since 2005, Kenyan natives Anne and George Mungai, who now live in Baldwin, have volunteered annually for one month in an orphanage and school they founded in Wangige, a suburb about 16 miles from Nairobi, in memory of their daughter, who died of lupus 9 years ago.
