Walrus born in captivity dies in Brooklyn aquarium

A young walrus that was among only a handful ever born in captivity has died at a Brooklyn aquarium.Officials at the New York Aquarium on Coney Island say the Pacific walrus named Akituusaq (ah-kee-TOO’-sack) died Tuesday of pneumonia, despite around-the-clock attention from veterinarians.
