Winter hikes, seal watching on Long Island

There's plenty of winter fun to be had outdoors. Quogue Wildlife Refuge offers a place to just walk at your own leisure, with more than 7 miles of trails with ponds, bogs and parts of the pine barrens. The Coastal Research and Education Society of Long Island seal walk at Cupsogue Beach in Westhampton is also a fun and interesting learning experience.
