98 acres; swimming pools (fee), model sailboat basin, indoor tennis courts (fee), 9-hole golf course, playgrounds, fitness trail, 2-mile jogging course, softball fields (fee), basketball and volleyball courts, paddleball, shuffleboard, dog run, horseshoes, outdoor ice skating rinks, cross country skiing trails (weather permitting). Concert: Movie night, Tuesdays, July 14 and Aug. 11. Begin at dusk. Cross country skiing trails (weather permitting).

For the dogs: A strong group of regulars congregate in this attractive dog run. The fenced area has a wood chip base, with easy parking and a water source. Small and large dogs share the same space - and dogs are only allowed in the run, not elsewhere in the park.

Ice skating: This outdoor ice-skating rink is framed by trees, landscaped hills and a small boat basin. It's open Monday to Thursday, Saturday and Sunday with two-hour sessions on Monday and Tuesday at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday at 10:30 a.m., 1:15 p.m. and 4 p.m. Friday's two hour sessions are 4 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday sessions are at 10:30 a.m., 1:15 p.m. and 4 p.m. The rink is popular with a group of seniors who call themselves the "Frisky Prunes" and hit the ice weekday mornings. The rink can be rented for parties. The "hearth room" skate building is a popular hangout on cold days, where skaters can warm themselves in front of a toasty fire. Admission: $4-$14, depending on age, residency and Leisure Passport. Skate rental: $5.
