In addition to apples, the Aquebogue location has hard cider tastings daily ($6) and growlers available for purchase ($11-$17). It regularly offers four varieties of hard cider -- traditional, traditional sweet, raspberry and cinnamon, plus special seasonal varieties such as pumpkin. "Making hard cider was a natural extension of the season," says Bob Gammon, who owns the orchard with brother Scott Gammon. "Cider tasting, baked goods and other things just add to the apple-picking experience." Both locations offer fresh-baked goods such as doughnuts, cookies and pies.
