Bostwick's Chowder House, the casual and popular Hamptonian, expands this season into catering.
Bostwick's Clambakes & Catering Co. is the new business, under chef Joe D'Angeli, a veteran of Hampton Clambakes and Food & Co. As the name notes, the caterer specializes in clambakes, including one with turf as well as surf, with sliced beef tenderloin.
Typical fare takes in local steamed clams, steamed Prince Edward Island mussels, shrimp cocktails, and lobsters with drawn butter. The greens are from Satur Farms in Cutchogue; the baguettes, from an East End favorite, Blue Duck Bakery.
